Second IDN Quarterly Newsletter of 2025

Dear Friends, Members, and Allies of the Degrowth Movement,

Welcome to the second International Degrowth Network newsletter of 2025! We have some exciting events coming up, most notably, the International Degrowth Assembly. If you're planning to be in Oslo, don't miss the chance to attend! For all information on registration, the schedule, and more, visit Assembly Registration (external link)

Volunteers needed

Everything we do is only possible thanks to the countless hours of volunteer work contributed by dozens of people and organizations who believe in degrowth.

If you're looking for ways to donate your time and talents, we're currently in need of volunteers in the following areas:

  • Social Media - Craft engaging content and help us grow our online presence
  • Translators - Help us reach a wider global audience by translating key materials
  • Networking & Engagement - Make the IDN more accessible and engaging for networking for both new and long-time members.
  • Tech - Maintain our tech infrastructure (hosting website, cloud, mails, calendar...), and help develop tools for networking
  • Fundraising - Help us raising funds for future Degrowth projects. Support the development of our funding and financial guidelines.
  • Onboarding - Welcome and guide new members during their first weeks in the IDN

If any of these roles sound interesting to you and you have a few spare hours each week, write an email to info@degrowth.net (external link) letting us know how you'd like to get involved!

Remember, the IDN is a co-created space-if you see something that could be improved, step in and help make it better!
